Basketball Recap: Polo Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mound City, Polo was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They secured a 59-53 W over the North Andrew Cardinals. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their 27-point performance the game before.

Polo's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for North Andrew, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.

Polo will face off against Brookfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Polo's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Brookfield has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for North Andrew, they will challenge King City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
