Football Recap: Haltom Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Haltom extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Colts. The Buffalos were up 21-7 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

When it comes to explaining why Haltom lost, don't look at Vudrico Roberson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 237 yards and one TD while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Roberson showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 69 yards. Another rusher making a difference was Nathaniel Golatt, who rushed for 45 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

As for Arlington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victory almost wasn't to be: they were down 21-7 in the third quarter.

Max Reviere had a dynamite game, rushing for 115 yards and three scores on only eight carries. Those 115 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
