Volleyball Recap: Lee Park Prep's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lee Park Prep had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Providence Classical Paladins by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Lee Park Prep was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 25-14, 25-22.

Emma Shulenberger paced Lee Park Prep's offense, picking up ten kills. Shulenberger got some help from Baylor Currie and her 11 assists. Shulenberger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Lee Park Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Providence Classical, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Lee Park Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Classical, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
