Son of former Cincinnati and NBA star Kenyon Martin has grabbed attention early on this season at Chaminade (West Hills, Calif.).

Shaquille O'Neal, Dennis Rodman and Metta World Peace all have kids playing big roles on varsity teams.
Add Kenyon Martin to that list as his son,

Chaminade (West Hills).
Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times wrote on Martin's emergence last week.
The elder Martin retired from basketball in 2015 following a 15-year NBA career. He was the consensus college player of the year at Cincinnati in 1999-2000.
