Baseball Recap: Central Dauphin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wilson on Saturday, Central Dauphin came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Chambersburg Trojans by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Adam Reeser was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, Tommy Powell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Central Dauphin has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Chambersburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-8.
