Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Asheville T). Everything went their way against the Statesville Christian Lions on Monday as the Asheville T Trailblazers made off with a 17-4 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Trailblazers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Abrey Hernandez was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hernandez was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Asheville T is undefeated when Hernandez posts two or more runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, Sterling Haynes was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Galloway, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Asheville T always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Statesville Christian only posted an OBP of .357.
