Basketball Recap: Polytechnic Takes a Loss

Polytechnic suffered their closest defeat since January 27th on Monday. They fell just short of the Arroyo Grande Eagles by a score of 49-46.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Arroyo Grande, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-8.

Polytechnic will challenge Santiago at 3:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Santiago knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Polytechnic likes a good challenge. As for Arroyo Grande, they will be taking part in a tournament against Selma at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
