Cardinal O'Hara was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Archbishop Ryan on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers stepped up to hand the Raiders and Ragdolls an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Lions have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cardinal O'Hara's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Archbishop Ryan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cardinal O'Hara will head out to square off against Archbishop Carroll at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbishop Ryan, they will venture away from home to face off against Abington Friends at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Archbishop Ryan will need to watch out since Abington Friends has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
