Americas entered their tilt with Horizon on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They took their match with ease, bagging a 57-18 victory over the Horizon Scorpions. The Trail Blazers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Americas' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from COBY HELPLEY, who posted ten points and four steals. That's the most points HELPLEY has posted since back in November of 2024. ETHAN SALINAS was another key player, putting up ten points along with six boards and three steals.

Americas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Americas' win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.2 points per game. As for Horizon, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.

Coincidentally, Americas and Horizon will both be playing Parkland the next time they take the court. Americas will head out to face Parkland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Horizon will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
