Marana's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Sunnyside Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.

Marana pushed their record up to 15-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Sunnyside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Marana and Sunnyside will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Tigers see the court they'll take on Tucson High Magnet School at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Sunnyside, their break will end when they face Rincon/University at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
