Basketball Game Preview: Paul Robeson Huskies vs. Northeast Vikings

The Paul Robeson Huskies and the Northeast Vikings will face off at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Monday, Paul Robeson was able to grind out a solid victory over Great Oaks, taking the game 58-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 67-58 to Abraham Lincoln.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Paul Robeson, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Things could have been worse for Paul Robeson, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-55 loss to Northeast in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Paul Robeson, Darrius Gaeta (who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
