Baseball Recap: Ridgefield Comes Up Short

Ridgefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the McMahon Senators. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Ridgefield's record now sits at 6-6. As for McMahon, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

Coming up, Ridgefield will welcome Ludlowe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for McMahon, they will face off against New Canaan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
