Football Recap: Lake Charles College Prep's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lake Charles College Prep extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 6-2. They walked away with a 26-14 win over the Westlake Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trailblazers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

As for Westlake, they dropped their record down to 5-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Westlake took the loss, they still got scores from Dax Duhon and Brody Anderson.

Coming up, Lake Charles College Prep will square off against Comeaux at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westlake, they will challenge South Beauregard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Braylon Garrick and Jacob Marcantel.
