League recap: Triton scores huge upset over Cleveland

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Triton, who took down 56th ranked Cleveland, 43-40.

The Hawks extended the longest winning streak in 3A Eastern Carolina this week by beating the Rams, 43-40. The victory was the eighth in a row for Triton.

C.B. Aycock's Austin Snowden and Neil Clark have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Snowden has thrown for 691 yards this season, while Clark, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 12 catches for 187 yards. Dedrick Stacker from Ashley Ennis' team leads the league in rushing with 939 yards.

Stacker of the the Hawks is only 61 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cleveland takes on South Johnston. As it stands, the Rams are in second, while the Trojans are in third.

The Golden Falcons made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,640 from 6,538. The improvement came about via a 38-12 victory over the Warriors last week.
