            Volleyball Recap: Broome Centurions vs. Greer Yellow Jackets        
        
		
        
        
            
Broome lost against Greer back in September of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. The Centurions fell  2-0 to the Yellow Jackets.
 Broome was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14,  25-22.
Their offense was headlined by  Harper Smith and  Kalyn Norris, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from  Hannah Cooksey and her eight assists.  Cheyenne Mitchell controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Greer's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Sophia Petrillo, who  had 17  digs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ivey Tapp, who  had 14  assists and seven  digs.
Broome's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Greer, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Coming up, Broome will be playing in front of their home fans against York  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Greer, they have already played their next matchup,  a  2-0  win against High Point Academy on the 27th.
