After flying high against George Ranch last Friday, Strake Jesuit came back down to earth. The Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders fell 2-0 to the Alief Elsik Rams on Tuesday. The Fighting Crusaders' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Strake Jesuit's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2-1. As for Alief Elsik, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.

Strake Jesuit and Alief Elsik should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Strake Jesuit will face off against Fulshear at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 83 places (26 vs. 109). Strake Jesuit is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Similarly, Alief Elsik (ranked first) will meet George Ranch (ranked 481st) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
