Basketball Recap: Twin Lakes Comes Up Short

Twin Lakes lost against Benton Central back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Twin Lakes Indians took a hard 53-37 fall against the Benton Central Bison. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 314th, while the Bison are ranked 117th).

Despite the loss, Twin Lakes saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addyson Hines posted 18 points and five steals. Jasmine West was another key player, putting up eight points.

Twin Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Benton Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Twin Lakes will take on Munster in a tournament on December 27th. As for Benton Central, they will head out to square off against Western at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
