Basketball Recap: Cordova Takes a Loss

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 73-60 to the Houston Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Mustangs are ranked 14th).

Cordova now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Houston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cordova will head out to take on Southwind at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Houston, they will venture away from home to challenge Collierville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
