Fairfield put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 53-20 victory over the Brownsboro Bears. The Eagles pushed the score to 39-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears had little chance of recovering from.

Kohl Collins had an outrageously good game as he threw for 332 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Finn Smith was Collins' top target, picking up 140 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Fairfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Davonte Alexander, Connor Colvert, and Jeremiah Hudson picked up one apiece. Alexander is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. Hudson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Fairfield's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Brownsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfield will take on Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brownsboro, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Caddo Mills at 7:30 p.m. The Bears will need to watch out since the Foxes have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
