Baseball Recap: Oxford Wolverines vs. Woodland Regional Hawks

Oxford has not done well against Woodland Regional recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Oxford Wolverines came out on top in a nail-biter against the Woodland Regional Hawks and snuck past 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for Oxford.

For Woodland Regional's part, they got a good showing from Tyler Yoxall, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Yoxall has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive pitching appearances.
