Baseball Recap: Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Takes a Loss

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 11-11 to make it four. They came up short against the Pinewood Prep Panthers, falling 12-0. Considering the last time the Wildcats couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Pinewood Prep, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-4. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 12 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

For Pinewood Prep's part, Christopher Kabine looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Grady Fuller was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted over his last seven games. Carson Good was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Coming up, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics will take on First Baptist School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pinewood Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
