Basketball Recap: Crandall's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Crandall extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lebron Mckelvy. The Crandall Pirates blew past the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars 77-57 on Friday thanks in part to Mckelvy, who went 10 for 15 on his way to 26 points along with five assists and four steals. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Tj Taylor, who went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Crandall's win bumped their record up to 11-14-1. As for Midlothian Heritage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-14-1.

Crandall will head out on the road to challenge Kaufman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midlothian Heritage, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars face off against the Terrell Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midlothian Heritage is facing Terrell at the right time seeing as Terrell is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
