Gowanda waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Randolph Cardinals with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Gowanda won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 26-24.

Gowanda's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Randolph, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Gowanda will venture away from home to challenge Allegany-Limestone at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Randolph has already played their next matchup (against Westfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
