Basketball Recap: Grand Ledge Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Grand Ledge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 73-72 to the Mason Bulldogs. The Comets lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 61-37 score last time.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Grand Ledge is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Hudsonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason, they will head out to take on Williamston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
