Basketball Recap: Coalgate Takes a Loss

Coalgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Davis Wolves, falling 50-28. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Wolves are ranked 191st).

Coalgate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Davis, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Coalgate has already played their next matchup, a 50-49 loss against Tishomingo on the 18th. As for Davis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 44-23 victory against Dibble on the 18th.
