Baseball Recap: Dora Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Dora had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 23-2 to the Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers on Thursday.

Dora saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roddy Neal, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Coming up, Dora will take on Thoreau in a tournament on Friday. As for Mesilla Valley Christian School, they will be taking part in a tournament against Santa Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Teresa's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so Mesilla Valley Christian School's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
