Baseball Recap: Dickson Comes Up Short

Dickson lost against Davis back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Dickson came up short against Davis, falling 21-2. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dickson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jakob Holbrook, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Terry Arbuckle also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Dickson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Davis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

While Dickson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
