Volleyball Recap: Seton Catholic Comes Up Short

Seton Catholic lost against Queen Creek back in October of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sentinels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elizabeth (Lizzie) Steinkamp paced Seton Catholic's offense, picking up eight kills. (Lizzie) Steinkamp got some help from Hannah Ostrowski and her nine assists. Sophia (Phia) Fisher and Maddi Carey-Morrisey kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Seton Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Queen Creek, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-14.

Seton Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Whittier Christian on the 27th. As for Queen Creek, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Willow Canyon on the 27th.
