Volleyball Recap: North Henderson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

North Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Smoky Mountain Mustangs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While North Henderson was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Smoky Mountain's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 26-24.

Shelby Simpson paced North Henderson's offense, picking up eight kills. Simpson got some help from Katie Ruminski and her 14 assists. Finally, Avery H Hinkle kept North Henderson's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

North Henderson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Smoky Mountain, their record now sits at 13-9.
