Softball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Wonewoc-Center was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bangor Cardinals. The Wolves have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Wonewoc-Center saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callissa Keller, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Wonewoc-Center's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Bangor, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Coming up, Wonewoc-Center will face off against Necedah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bangor, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-9 victory against Hillsboro on the 13th.
