Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Takes a Loss

Benjamin Franklin was the 2-1 winner over Dutchtown when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Griffins on Saturday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Kaycie Holmes and Laura Fisher, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Avery Johnson and her six assists.

Benjamin Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Dutchtown, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-11.

Benjamin Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Archbishop Hannan on the 1st. As for Dutchtown, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Archbishop Chapelle on the 1st.
