Baseball Recap: Elmont Memorial Comes Up Short

Elmont Memorial lost against Valley Stream Central last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Spartans came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jan Carlo Hernandez Sime was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3.

Elmont Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley Stream Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Elmont Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley Stream Central, they will square off against Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
