Basketball Recap: North Knox Comes Up Short

North Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Center Grove Trojans. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Center Grove can attribute much of their success to Lilly Bischoff, who went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points. That's the most points Bischoff has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gracyn Gilliard, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 10 points.

North Knox's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Center Grove, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Knox will take on Parke Heritage at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Center Grove, they will challenge Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th.
