Baseball Game Preview: Box Elder Bees vs. Roy Royals

For the second straight game, Box Elder will face off against Roy. The Bees will challenge the Royals at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Box Elder's victory against Roy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bees had just enough and edged out the Royals 4-3. The win was some much needed relief for the Bees as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Korbin Jeppesen, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Bryson Wight was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Box Elder's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-10. As for Roy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
