Softball Recap: Philo Comes Up Short

Philo and Harrison Central squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Philo had to settle for second. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 12-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Electrics couldn't push the score so high this time.

Philo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dilyn Brown, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Philo dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Harrison Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Philo nor Harrison Central have any future games scheduled.
