West Brunswick won the last time they faced Whiteville and Tameya Thomas did her part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-16 win over the Wolfpack thanks in part to Thomas, who went 5-for-7 en route to 16 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

The victory got West Brunswick back to even at 3-3. As for Whiteville, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

West Brunswick has already played their next game, a 62-23 defeat against North Myrtle Beach on the 8th. As for Whiteville, they will face off against West Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
