Basketball Game Preview: Elkhorn South Storm vs. Creighton Prep Junior Jays

Elkhorn South is 0-5 against Creighton Prep since December of 2017 but things could change on Friday. The Storm will be playing at home against the Junior Jays at 7:15 p.m.

Elkhorn South and Millard North faced off in a cross-town battle on Tuesday. The Storm received a blow as they fell 67-51 to the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Creighton Prep was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Norfolk 70-33. The win continues a trend for the Junior Jays in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

The victory got Creighton Prep back to even at 1-1. As for Elkhorn South, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Things could have been worse for Elkhorn South, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 61-42 loss to Creighton Prep when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Thankfully for the Storm, Trinell Parker (who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
