Basketball Recap: Burns Sci-Tech Comes Up Short

Burns Sci-Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 51-11 loss at the hands of the Taylor Wildcats. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Taylor was led to victory by Anthony Miler and Jace Harcus. Miler posted 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Harcus earned 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Harcus is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. James Thomas was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

Burns Sci-Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Taylor, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Burns Sci-Tech has already played their next game (against Brevard HEAT), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Taylor will host Warner Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Taylor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.5 points per game this season.
