Basketball Recap: Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 31-21 win over the Morris Bulldogs on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-24 back in December of 2024.

Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Morris, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Young Women's Leadership the next time they take the court. Morris will head out to face Young Women's Leadership at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Riverdale/Kingsbridge Academy will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on January 28th.
