Soccer Game Preview: Oshkosh North vs. Oshkosh West

The Oshkosh North Spartans are taking a road trip to take on the Oshkosh West Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Oshkosh North is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Ripon get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Oshkosh West hasn't lost a match since April 17th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Appleton East 2-1.

Oshkosh West has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Oshkosh North, their record is now 4-1-2.

Oshkosh North might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Oshkosh West when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Spartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
