Football Recap: Kankakee Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kankakee Valley extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were outmatched by the Andrean Fighting 59ers and fell 38-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Kougars of the 28-7 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

As for Andrean, they now have a winning record of 2-1. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 13-point performance the game before.

Andrean's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brady Stovall, who rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Stovall has posted since back in October of 2024. Tyler Vo did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 131 receiving yards.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kankakee Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Hobart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Andrean will face off against rival Munster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
