Volleyball Recap: Providence Triumphs

The Providence Pioneers were able to grind out a solid victory over the Le Lycee Lions on Monday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

Providence had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-22, 25-22.

Providence's win bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Le Lycee, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-15.

Looking ahead, Providence will host Flintridge Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Le Lycee, they will take on de Toledo at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
