Plainfield waltzed into their matchup  on Saturday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They never let the Noblesville Millers get on the board and left with  a   5-0  win. Give the Quakers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.
 Sidney Parks tossed a big game,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Kylie Fish was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maci Hanlin, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI.
Plainfield's victory was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 17-1. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Noblesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
 Looking ahead, Plainfield will challenge Decatur Central at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Quakers are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Noblesville, they will take on Mt. Vernon at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Marauders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.62  runs per game on average), something the Millers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
