Baseball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for St. James's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Sharks in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost six in a row.

St. James got a good showing from Dylan Victoria, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits Victoria has allowed since back in March.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for North Myrtle Beach, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6.

As of now, neither St. James nor the Chiefs have any future games scheduled.
