Game recap: Perryville bests Patterson Mill as comeback tripped up

Perryville (Md.)'s advantage, which at one point stood at 14 points, dwindled to nine before the final whistle blew on a 23-14 victory over Patterson Mill (Bel Air, Md.).

After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Panthers led 17-7 at the half.

Perryville saw its 10-point halftime lead fall to three entering the fourth.

Patterson Mill's Luke DePasquale played well. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns.

PHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 20-0.



With the win the Panthers extended their winning streak to three games.

Patterson Mill (1-2) will play a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna game against Bohemia Manor next week, while Perryville (3-0) will take on North East also in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna game.
