Soccer Recap: Hodgson Vo-Tech Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dickinson last Tuesday, Hodgson Vo-Tech came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Ursuline Academy Raiders on Monday, falling 4-0. If Hodgson Vo-Tech were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Ursuline Academy when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hodgson Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ursuline Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hodgson Vo-Tech will venture away from home to face off against Howard at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hodgson Vo-Tech will be up against Howard's rather soft defense (which has allowed 5.33 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ursuline Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wilmington Christian at 4:00 p.m. on the 29th.
