Soccer Game Preview: Manor vs. Cedar Ridge

The Manor Mustangs will take on the Cedar Ridge Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Manor is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Manor managed to keep up with McNeil until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Manor lost 4-1 to McNeil. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Mavericks are ranked 46th).

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 3. They and McNeil finished up their match with a 2-2 draw on Friday.

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 11-8-2. Cedar Ridge's draw makes their record 3-14-4 this season.

Everything went Manor's way against Cedar Ridge when the teams last played back in February, as Manor made off with a 5-2 victory. Does Manor have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cedar Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
