Basketball Recap: Kennewick Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hermiston last Wednesday, Kennewick came back down to earth. The Kennewick Lions took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kamiakin Braves on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Braves: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kennewick's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Kamiakin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Kennewick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kamiakin, they will be playing at home against Southridge at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Kamiakin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Southridge likes a good challenge.
