Softball Recap: Morehead Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morehead can now relate to. They fell just short of the West Caldwell Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Morehead's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for West Caldwell, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-3.

Morehead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Caldwell, they will square off against Randleman on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
