Duncan came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Woodward Boomers with a sharp 8-1 win. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 matches by six runs or more this season.

Duncan pushed their record up to 22-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games.
